One of the reasons for the Rose and Crown's popularity is our real ale , gravity served directly from the cellar. For the Christmas Festivities we have Elgoods Black Dog Mild 3.6%, Cambridge Bitter 3.8%, Feelgood Festival Bitter 3.7%, Golden Newt Bitter 4.1%, Pageant Bitter 4.3%, Snicklemas Bitter 5.0%, Castle Rocks Sheriffs Tipple 3.4%, Mauldens Suffolk Pride 4.8% and last but not least Westons Cloudy Scumpy "Olde Rosie" 7.3%.

A lovely cosy pub with a real fire, the Rose and Crown

In addition to the main lounge with traditional open fire, we have a games bar at the rear with a pool table and gaming machines and a recently added garden bar with a 42” flatscreen, freeview and freesat tv, along with another pool table.

If you like a game with your drink there's Pool, Dominoes, Darts and Cards inside, Boules (Petanque) outside and ample space in the adjoining grounds for a game of football or rounders.

And plenty of friendly company There's a large patio to the rear of the pub and a beer garden as well as a landscaped pond. In addition we have a smoking area with and an extensive car park.

Open Sunday - Thursday from 10.00am till 12.00 midnight,Friday and Saturday 10.00am til 0100 am the next day.
